From the moment that Daniela's beautiful voice enters your ears, whether she is singing Italian Folk Music, like the classic Napolitano song, Dicitencello Vuie, or a slow American ballad, like Etta James' At Last, her angelic, sassy, polished sound will leave you mesmerized. Coming from Italian roots, Daniela has a strong sense of the Italian culture, which is evident through her passion, expression, and pureness in both her music and performance.
Inspired by her father, who was born and raised in Abruzzo, Italy, Daniela's passion for singing started at an early age, although she did not begin to sing professionally until she became a student at Duquesne University in Pittsburgh, PA. This is where she cultivated her silky-smooth, yet powerful vocals. During her tenure at Duquesne, Daniela was taken under the wing of family friend and internationally renowned musician and composer, Vito DiSalvo. In 2009, Daniela joined DiSalvo's band, We Three, as the lead vocalist. This gave her the opportunity to sing at many different types of venues, with many talented musicians, and to be featured on the band's latest and what would become their last CD, We Three, The Next Generation. Since that time, Daniela's performance skills and experiences have continued to grow. Post the We Three era, Daniela immersed herself in her music, re-inventing and catapulting herself to yet another level. In 2009, while participating in a Duquesne University Vocal Program in Italy, she met the love of her life and future husband, Codrin Chiriac. They married in 2011, and now have a beautiful daughter, Rosali. Daniela's family continues to support and inspire her to share her gift with the world. She continues to sing at every opportunity, and is happiest when she can share her talent and passion for music with her audience.
